The recitation of holy text Pragyaparmita was held on Itumbaha premises for four days from 10th to 13th day of Gunla Dharma. This recitation was held after a long gap of 30 years with the efforts of Sangha members. The sacred text Pragyaparmita composed of 32 Chapters. Sangha members recited whole chapters for 4 days.
Pragyaparmita is considered to be a sacred text of Mahayana Buddhism. It emphasizes about universal truth and knowledge of voidness (Sunyata Gyan). The objective of this recitation is the universal peace and harmony as well as as avoidance of unfortunate events.
